Raine Street is a good example of a successful infill development within a neighbourhood that features heritage buildings and modern development. Our clients’ purchased the site which contained a single story dwelling (situated between two three storey homes) with the hope to create a functional and beautiful space for a contemporary family to grow. While designing the new building, we took inspiration from the surrounding development of Woollahra, making sure it fit in with the character of the neighbourhood.
The finished product is a stunning, contemporary home that really takes advantage of its location. It has big windows and outdoor living spaces that let the homeowners enjoy the natural beauty of the area. It’s a great example of how an infill development can add value to a neighbourhood while still respecting the existing architecture and character of the street-scape.
